First Cross Country this weekend at Swanley, really nice day and weather was perfect! started off really well despite not training this week. But with about 600m to go started to get what I think was a stitch, it was really painful, nothing like any stitch I've had before. But it soon went away after the race. Had a really good time though, was a great day!!
Today was the Givaudan 10k in Ashford. I decided to run even though I ran yesterday. I was doing really well until about 4k then got the same stitch as Saturday so decided to slow down instead of stop. Ended up finishing in 52.38. I'm actually really pleased with the race looking at it now, as I haven't run a 10k since Hamstreet in June, and the furthest I've run in training is 4miles!! So overall pleased with the weekend!!
